Sigurdur Helgason also known as Newklear
is growing fast. Being one of the most recognizable
faces of the Icelandic music scene.
Starting out with a simple equipment. Newklear
was able to create prolific remixes of popular songs,
which gave him a local name. Throughout the years
he has been able to gather better material, which in
turn gave him the ability to create better mixes and
remixes of tracks.
In early 2011, he joined the “Living Electro” community and started submitting some of his tracks, which soon gave him notoriety all over the world and his fan base grew even bigger. His name started to appear of different publications around the world and people started to recognize his talent as one of the potentially biggest producers and DJs in the industry.
Newklear has gained notoriety in the space of a couple of years being noticed and supported by djs like: Nicky Romero, Morgan Page, Vince Moggin, Djs From Mars, Club Banditz, Jerry Rekonius, DUB’D OUT and many more along with the LivingElectro community. He is constantly releasing mixes and mixtapes that are available for free download on his soundcloud.
After a great start to the year 2013 getting noticed and supported by big dj names around the world, Newklear finally hit the radio after all the successful Contaminated
Selection podcasts. He now hosts his show on EDM City Radio once a month, giving you all the biggest beats and dirty drops.
