Hey guys just thought I would start up a convo! What is your setup? Are you fully digital or analog?

 

I just bought a set of really crappy turntables(lol) with the hercules rmx. I am just about to buy serato and rock it out!

 

 

Well, I don't have a set up just yet, but I completely agree with you to have Serato, its awesome, and can really help in really bad situations :D

Saving up for CDJ 1000's babyyyy!

I have got 2 CDJ 400 limited (with blue leds =D) and one DJM 400 limited too, but I continue to use the computer sometime, it is always useful ;) Or i use a mix of both :p

Right now I have the Behringer BCD3000. They're small enough to fit on my desk, but powerful enough to play a show. Either next month or October I'll be getting the Traktor Kontrol x1. Hopefully I can buy two of them because I seriously don't want to bother with just one. LOL, I want to have more parameters for my effects. Eventually I want to get a DDM 4000 mixer, two xone:1D or 2D and still keep my Kontrol x1s on the site. Ultimately I'll be controlling four decks and have enough knobs and buttons for more effects and parameters.

I'm mainly digital now. a stint with Live, i messed around with Traktor, and fell in love. it does everything you would need it to do, so i got meself a kontrol x1 and a maschine. non NI controllers are a b**ch to set up in traktor. i run them out to my old analog mixer, numark dm1002mk2. one side runs a, and the other runs b. my a mixer also plays my tables with the flick of a switch, i only use one turntable now, stanton t.60x (i barely use it anyways). so unfortunately i can't mix record to record, but i don't care because 2 tables are just too cumbersome to carry around everywhere, and records are expensive. seriously, a 2 hour set would cost a ton in records.
