Living Electro Forum

Hello,

I come from France, and i would like to suggest something, if in the future, it will be possible to add many sections from differents countries with a chat specially for the language, with some news directly traduct. And for me, the main languages are English, Spanish and French.

What do you think ?

Well, we are one world wide community. Electro freaks all over the world, i think its amazin and if there r some different chats, i would keep up the global channel too.

Personally, I don't really like the idea. Just because I actually enjoy seeing people from different countries and different languages in the shoutbox.. even though I can't understand what is being said. lol. I do plan on learning as many languages as possible from all our members.. haha . Plus, I don't think we have enough people talkin on shoutbox to even have seperate chat rooms. There are so many different languages spoken that I don't know if it would even be fair to have chatrooms for those 3 anyway. Hmm.. I think I've seen Portuguese, French, German, Spanish, Croatian, Russian.. That's all I can think of. Oh.. and English of course. haha!

I've seen some people tellin others to speak in english because they don't understand. I always let those people know that LE is world wide and that anyone can speak any language that they please. :) I also see people apologizing for their english.. and I also tell them that there is no need to apologize.

We are really tryin to build the community and I just think having different chats may seperate us rather than bring us together.

I think he means the forum not the shoutbox :)

Hey devour!! Comment sa va? :D Je sais parler francais, mais bon, sa sert a rien que je fasse le "comment" en francais :D I always agreed with the different languages on LE... But only on the forum. Like Starr, I believe that if there's a different shoutbox for every different language, not only will that stuff up the whole community, but it will also divide the LE community, and that could be bad news, and could turn out nasty and unorganized. But for the forum, I always thought that changing the language of the site as an option was always a good idea :) But keep in mind that this is easy to say, but hard to do :)

Even if he is talkin about the forum.. My thoughts remain the same on this. People can still use their own language on the forum :)

Yes it's true after three days on the chat, there is not so many people talking so i remove my bad request !! Sorry everybody ! Yes for the forum could be nice if there is a possibility to traduct the tutos or the main explications, but because i'm not VIP yet I cannot know. I think i will become soon a new VIP..
