Hey everyone,

I just wanted to ask our users a question. What do you want to see on LivingElectro? What kind of features do you want added? If you have any thoughts on how you can help us improve our site, please leave a comment and we will check it out!

Thanks,

Auris

Difficult question.. this site is great! =D

Well, I use email a lot, my suggestion is to (if possible of course) LE starts to interact with users by their personal e-mail. For example: be notified of a new message in a topic of the forum, receive news about LE and musics, be notified of a new PM received, etc. I think this would be nice, it would keep the users more informed (in my opnion).

Only suggestions guys, thanks for the space ;) Sorry for any English mistake.

i think the users' songs go unnoticed in the place/way they are presented.

May be a moderator or someone can have the task to check the nice songs and publish them in the main site. Nothing more to say, the site is just amazing!

Site is simply amazing for what it is meant for already, the site design is clean. but something i'd like probably changed is the navigation through songs. for example, i'm a dj and sometimes i'm running out of songs to play at my gigs and clubs so sometimes i like looking thorugh a huge list of songs and downloading songs that i like. so instead of putting like 9 songs on the front page then clicking previous everytime to go to a new 9 possibly make a new page on the site that allows me to see the huge list possibly categorized in some way. thanks

edit: and i agree with the above poster.

I love this website too. I'm going every day to see what's new, I'm LE addict :P. I agreed with fabrii too and I wanna know if there any possibility for any hardcore, hardstyle or hard trance section? If anybody on LE had the ressource, this would be great. Sorry for english mistakes btw!

in the forums. id say make an area for DJs to talk more abotu our side of it. tip tricks interesting things to do when mixing. as well maybe some stuff about the different gear. good ways to start DJing or producing. these things can be great ways of helping new DJs. also maybe some more stuff in the genres, downloads i can wait but forums. lets get some breaks. UK hardcore, harddance. soem more style. and seeing even some more general discussion about the different genres is nice even if theres no download. but thats more based around the community then you managing the site. lastly. maybe we can have a poll of our our fav DJs every week or so. and just take a selection of entered DJs. that way people can start picking out new names that other people like that they may have never heard of. something along those lines

The website is incredible, i found it by just searching for trance music in google, from there i told all my friends about it, I do like the idea that Invasor said about contacting with users through personnel emails, and maybe have the users, when the register, check a box with their favorite music, and from their break it down to artist, for example when you go to the download area to listen to the track maybe has a subscribe button or so, so that you can receive notifications about that artist if they put out anything, keeps the users more notified... other than that site is incredible!

1. Maybe have tutorials and suggestions for those who want to be a DJ, producer, etc...

From the Living Electro staff in general, like on software, equipment, basic gear to start off with and look for etc.

2. Have The staff of Le give personal videos of themselves showing tricks, tips, and tutorials to get the certain sounds then give to the users of LE..

3. Podcasts of Favorite Staff tracks, picks, upcoming releases, updates on unreleases with previews etc etc

(wouldnt mind helping with that) Make it like a friendly discussion in general, maybe also discuss our, your thoughts on djs progress, degress, how they affect your performance in the night...(kinda blabbing now).

4. Remix contests for users for certain tracks provided by staff uploads (like their own tracks) and the best could win a month free upgrade.

I will try to think of more....

It would be nice if this could be written next to the chat box, " Tunescoop/youtube/zippyshare only links allowed" All the mods wouldn't have to keep telling members to stop posting soundcloud and other websites which means less spam. Some really great ideas posted here!

I would have to agree with Wobbles there. I would really like to see a Dubstep section. I would be posting a crap ton of songs on the site if that were the case. Heck if Wobbles is down with him, him and I can run the section.

first of all.. auris.. break ya nose.... Second of all, There should be a refferals option on applications. Say a user got recommended to the site from someone else or even a blog or girls underwear.. i think there should be a way we can find out where and or how they discovered our site. This will make it easier on targeting advertisement or whatever. Third, i think we can do away with "Last 150 recent Searches:," and integrate the forum more into the front page and deleting the "Last 150 recent Searches:" Simply integrate it with a couple of buttons at the bottom of the page directing you to specific forum threads or the genre threads. This in turn might satisfy the peoples needs to have more genre's on the front page and also generate more forum activity. Forth, i think we should get a "pop-up" player for our play lists, and this might help speed the site up more. The site itself has enough speed to handle that little add on, but we wont talk about tunescoop.... fifth, i think we should get rid of 3 front page songs for a new row like the "User Songs" row, But have it for the tracks that get bumped off of the front page so people do not have to go back and back and back. That is all i can think of right now to help improve speed with usability.
